Act one
The event runs on crew
Experts Live UK 2027 is community-run — there is no agency behind the curtain. The people scanning badges, herding speakers and fixing the thing that just broke are practitioners who put their hand up. Without crew there is no event; it is that direct.
Act two
What you would actually do
Registration desk, room monitoring, speaker wrangling, expo logistics, and the hundred small things nobody plans for. Shifts are shared out so everyone still gets to sessions — you volunteer at the conference, you do not miss it.
Act three
What you get back
A free ticket, the crew shirt, the crew social — and the best seat in the house. You will meet more speakers, MVPs and fellow admins in three days of crewing than in a year of attending. Many of our crew come back every year; that tells you most of it.
