Experts Live UK 2027
Code of conduct
The short version
Be kind, be professional, be inclusive. Harassment of any kind is not tolerated — in sessions, on the expo floor, at the socials or online under the event hashtag. If someone asks you to stop, stop. Report anything to any crew member or to hello@expertslive.co.uk, and we will act.
Scope
This code applies to everyone at Experts Live UK — attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers and organisers — across every event space: sessions, workshops, the expo floor, official socials, and online spaces connected to the event.
Expected behaviour
Treat everyone with respect. Welcome people who are new to the community. Debate ideas, not people. Respect a no — whether that is about a photo, a conversation or a badge scan.
Unacceptable behaviour
Harassment, intimidation or discrimination in any form; sexualised language or imagery; sustained disruption of talks; unwelcome physical contact or attention; photographing or recording someone after they have asked you not to. Sponsors and exhibitors must not run aggressive or misleading promotion.
Reporting
Tell any crew member — crew are identifiable on site — or email hello@expertslive.co.uk. Reports are handled confidentially. You will not be asked to confront anyone, and we will never name a reporter without their consent.
Enforcement
Organisers may take any action they judge appropriate, from a warning to expulsion from the event without refund, and, where relevant, referral to venue security or the police. Decisions rest with the organising team.
Need to report something, before, during or after the event? Speak to any crew member on site, or email us — reports are handled confidentially.
